By accessing or using File Architect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

License

When you purchase a license, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use File Architect in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the software for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to misuse the software by engaging in activities such as hacking, reverse-engineering, or distributing malicious content.

Content Ownership

All files and folder structures you create using File Architect remain your property.

Data Collection

We do not collect data from the files and folder structures you create with File Architect. The only thing we collect when you create and account and make a purchase are:

• Your email address
• Your name
• Your password (hashed)
• Your license key when you make a purchase

This is used to identify you as the license owner and to allow you to access your license information.

Purchases

All purchases made through the Website are processed by a third party payment processor, Stripe. Stripe may ask you for personal and/or non-personal information, such as your name, address, email address, credit card information, or other Personal Information. Stripe has a privacy policy that describes their collection and use of personal information. File Architect does not control Stripe or its collection or use of information. Any questions or concerns about Stripe’s practices should be directed to Stripe.

Stripe provides us with certain non-personal information relating to purchases made by visitors to the Website. The non-personal information may include details of the purchase such as the date, amount paid, and product purchased. The non-personal purchase information may be linked to the Personal Information you provide to us (typically limited to your email address, as stated above). Stripe does not supply us with any of your other Personal Information such as your name, street address, or credit card information.

File Architect is provided on an “as-is” basis. We make no warranties regarding the software’s performance or availability and are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall File Architect, its affiliates, or its employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the software.

Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of File Architect after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
